Dorset hosts most popular water park

Dorset has won an international award for the best water park. Dorset Adventure Park came top in a poll of 852 water parks across 29 countries through user ratings compiled from TripAdvisor by showerstoyou.co.uk

In second place is Siam Park in the Canary Islands followed by Croatia with Aquapark Istralandia.

Nestled in a valley beside the ruins of Corfe Castle, Dorset Adventure Park lives up to the name, not only offering a series of wipe-out style courses, but also mud trail assault courses for the ultimate getaway.

Croatia’s Aquapark Istralandia is surrounded by the green forest of the hinterland of Novigrad with 23 water attractions and more than 3 kilometres of pipe slides.

Following closely in fourth is Energylandia located in Poland. It is a tropical island styled water park home to 14 slides of all shapes and sizes, as well as a beach to relax on.

In fifth place is Djurs Sommerland in Denmark. As the winner of the 2019 Park World Excellence award, Djurs Sommerland offers nine themed areas and is also home to Northern Europe’s biggest water coaster.
